fuckyeahtattoos: “It takes a fire to see the angels.” My father was in a fire back in October and burnt 34% of his body ranging all the way to 3rd degree burns. To ensure he couldn’t feel any pain, they induced him into a coma while he healed. After a few days he started to wake up and interact with us, but the nurses said he wouldn’t remember anything. But one day after they gave him a drug that had about a 50% chance of working, he was staring at the corner of his hospital room. When we asked him what he saw, he nodded when we asked if it was an angel. This tattoo memorializes my father’s ability to overcome months of healing to get back on his feet where he is today, and how such an incident can bring my whole family, despite differences, together to support him. Done in 10 hours by The Magnificent Teresa Sharpe at Studio 13 Creative Skin Design in Fort Wayne, IN.

fuckyeahtattoos: Awhile back i discovered Circa Survive through a friend, and naturally through them Esao Andrews, I loved his art as much as their music and have since 05. Last Fall i finally went through with the idea of doing an Esao Andrews/Circa sleeve here are two parts of it, the Falling dove and Monsoon with the on letting go balloon peaking a bit. Still much more to do, but im in love with it already. Huge thanks to Jae Audette at Flying Tiger Tattoo in New britain CT, for his awesome work!
